Welcome
We are a volunteer organization interested in preserving the historical cemeteries in the West Township community. We place flags on the graves of our veterans each year and also host a Memorial Day service at Moultrie Chapel.
Individuals interested with restoration, please contact any committee members.
Over 100 Years Old
Moultrie Chapel is well over 100 years old and mainly consists of original materials.
Restore The Chapel
Many things are needed to ensure this historical site continues to function for many years to come.
Chapel windows and siding, along with decorative trim and peaks are in desperate need of attention.
Help The Cemetery
Many of our oldest headstones have fallen and need to be reset.
Moultrie Chapel & Historical Headstones Are in Jeopardy!
The West Township Memorial Association has been granted Tax-Exempt 501C3 status in order to accept donations with the purpose to restore Moultrie Chapel and repair the cemeteries of West Township.

Any donations in the form of checks made payable to West Twp Memorial Assn can be sent to our treasurer, Bill Ellis at 10070 Rochester Rd., Minerva, OH 44657.
